About
Who I am
I am a doctor in computer science (one that will not fix your computer), but outside of consultation hours, I am also a multimedia author: blogs, comics, novels, commissioned drawings, radio columns, video games, streaming shows... I do a lot of things, mainly focused on humor and almost always under a free license.
I was born in the French region of Lorraine a few months before the Berlin Wall came down and I now live in the Essonne, close to Paris. I chose the pseudonym Gee. And Ptilouk because it's a diminutive of “p'tit loukoum” (lil' loukoum in French) and it's funny.
I am a member of the French non-profit Framasoft which graciously hosts this site (please support us!). Of course, anything I say outside of Frama-branded sites is my own responsibility.
I am also a member of the Board of Directors of the French non-profit April (you can join us!), where I do humorous radio columns every month.
Most of my work is written in French, but I have translated some to English.
My work translated into English
-
Grise Bouille, a satirical comic blog that combines absurd humor, popular science, and political caricature. In addition to comics, you will find texts, drawings, and other ramblings
-
Superfluous Returnz, a free humorous point-and-click adventure video game
-
Little Brats!, a playground simulator, a fast-paced casual action video game with a strong multiplayer focus
-
Ptilouk.net Éditions!, a couple of my books have been translated into English too
Free author
All my works (with a few temporary exceptions) are licensed CC-By-Sa most of the time, which means that you have the right to copy, share, modify, and even resell them if you wish (provided that you always do so under the same free license)
While I occasionally do commissioned drawings, the majority of my income comes from crowdfunding, i.e., donations.
To continue writing, drawing, and offering you works that you can enjoy freely, I need your help!

Custom Drawings
What do you do?
I offer custom drawing services:
- personalized illustrations (posters, book covers, announcements, etc.);
- custom comic strips;
- animations/short cartoons;
- etc.
I work on a graphics tablet using Inkscape software: this means that drawings are provided in PNG format at the requested resolution, but also in vector format, which can be resized infinitely without any loss of quality.
I am open to proposals from individuals, associations, and companies. I have already worked for universities such as UTC, cooperatives such as Mednum, public agencies such as Arcep, and non-profits such as Framasoft.
Examples of my graphic designs are shown above.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the desired style, level of detail, number of drawings, etc. That's why it's necessary to contact me so that I can provide an accurate quote based on your project.
As a rough guide, it can range from a few dozen euros for a simple black and white drawing to a few hundred for detailed color drawings.
How does it work?
It's very simple:
- Send me an email detailing your requirements.
- I provide you with a quote.
- If you are happy with the quote, sign it and send it back to me.
- I fulfill the order.
- You pay the invoice.

Contact
For a review (good or bad)
Encouragement, complaints, praise, thanks, insults... If you would like to share your opinion about what I do, you can use the various social media platforms listed at the top of the page or contact me by email:
For an order (custom design)
You can contact me by email:
For an invitation to an event
I am always keen to meet the public and participate in festivals. If you would like to invite me to an event, please contact me directly by email:
I have no remuneration requirements for participating in an event (book signing, conference, workshop, etc.), but I do ask that my transportation costs be covered.
To submit an idea for an article, comic strip, etc.
Generally speaking, I write my comics on my own and very rarely use other people's ideas (the exception being Bastards, Inc, whose scripts are written by Pouhiou).
To get me involved in a project
You can send me an email, provided you are specific about what you are proposing. If your message simply says, “I have a project that might interest you, please get back to me so we can discuss it,” there is little chance that I will respond: I cannot guess in advance whether I will be interested.
Another very important point: all of my creations are licensed under a free license. If the project in question involves producing something under a non-free license (traditional copyright or Creative Commons with restrictive Nc or Nd clauses), I am not interested.
For a partnership or link exchange
None of my projects display advertising, and this will not change in the future. I do not accept any partnerships of this kind, nor do I write any promotional or commercial articles, regardless of the remuneration offered. Therefore, please refrain from contacting me with requests of this nature.
The few links posted on my blogs are based on personal choice, so there is no question of “offering” a link exchange, regardless of the popularity of your site.
I will not tolerate any exceptions: many of you will think, “Oh, but it'll be fine for me,” or “Yes, but that might interest him.” NO.
For a press release
I do not host any media outlets, so I do not publish any press releases and do not wish to receive any. Therefore, please refrain from contacting me with requests of this nature and instead contact more appropriate sites.
I will not tolerate any exceptions: many of you will think, “Oh, but it'll be fine for me,” or “Yes, but that might interest him.” NO.
Support
Why donate?
I am an author who publishes all of my works under a free license. I therefore offer all digital versions of my works free of charge. The only income I receive from my creations comes from sales of video games and paper versions of my books (with a relatively low margin).
That's why you can also support me through a donation system, either monthly or on a one-off basis.
Are you a beggar?
This is not begging, but rather compensation for the works I publish: the only difference is that here, the price is up to you. You can give nothing, the works still exist. But if you like them, if you want to encourage the author, then you can give whatever you want.
Why should I pay if you give everything away for free?
When you pay for a book, you are buying a work exclusively for yourself; when you make a donation to an author who publishes under a free license, you are buying their works for the whole world.
Of course, I would never resort to blackmailing people into donating: you will always have my gratitude and esteem as long as you take the time to appreciate my works. However, the sustainability of my activity cannot be guaranteed if I do not receive enough donations.
I would like to support you, but I don't have the means...
There are other ways to support me besides money: the most effective is to spread the word, share my work on social media, or with your friends and family.
And of course, you can also leave me a little note of encouragement—it's a form of support that matters!
How much do you earn?
Depending on the means of support, the same expense on your part does not always result in the same gain on my part! Each platform charges more or less in fees, and in the case of purchases (books, video games), there are other significant costs (manufacturing, distribution). Here is a small table to clarify this:
Medium | You pay | I receive |
---|---|---|
Donation | 10 € | 9,60 € |
Book Superfluous on Lulu | 10 € | 3,91 € |
Game Superfluous Returnz on Itch.io | 10 € | 9,00 € |
Game Superfluous Returnz on Steam | 10 € | 6,67 € |
Note: Obviously, this table is a simplified version that compares equal amounts. Things get more complicated when the amounts vary, because donations have a fixed share (a small donation therefore implies higher relative costs), and not all books have the same manufacturing cost.
